Finding a new coffee vendor can be a challenge. There are a number to choose from in the Chicago area, and finding one that can meet the needs of your office is incredibly important. Here are just a few questions to ask when looking for Chicago coffee vendors to help make your search a bit easier.
How Long Do Repairs Typically Take?
This is an important question, especially if you and your staff rely on coffee to get started in the mornings and aren’t located near any alternate coffee suppliers or shops. While no company can guarantee instant repairs, you also don’t want to wind up using a company that is notoriously slow with repairs or who don’t complete routine maintenance. Ask this question of a few different vendors, and compare their answers with other vendors used by your colleagues at different offices.
What Type Of Coffee Do You Provide?
Some companies only offer one type of coffee, and don’t offer a decaffeinated alternative. This may be perfectly acceptable for your staff, but in some cases you may prefer to have a variety of flavors and decaffeinated options available for your staff and visitors. Survey your staff to find out what is important to them, and when you are calling or researching different coffee vendors, be sure to ask if they can provide the products your staff wants.
Do You Offer Any Other Services?
You may be happy with a vendor who only supplies coffee for now, but in the future you may expand and wish to provide alternate food and beverage options to your staff. By going with a company that already offers these services, you can establish a reputation with them, and can expand your order when the time comes. Even if you only opt for coffee at the moment, it’s a good idea to ask if the vendor provides sugar, sweetener, and/or cream in addition to coffee. If not, you may wind up dealing with multiple vendors.
